Cyprus’s Natural Gas Public Company, DEFA, is evaluating interest from eight parties in completing the delayed Vasiliko LNG terminal. On 15 October, the company said the new selection process takes account of problems experienced during the earlier procurement process.
The estimated completion cost is approximately €180 million, with work expected to take around two years once the project proceeds. The final price will depend on technical assessment, submitted proposals and the contract ultimately awarded.
